Once the form is filled out, you will need to pay the application fee, which is typically around €7, using a credit or debit card. After submitting your application, it will be processed, and in most cases, approval is granted within minutes, although it’s recommended to apply a few days before your trip. Once approved, you will receive an email confirmation. Your ETIAS approval is electronically linked to your passport, so there’s no need to print it out. Be sure that your passport is valid for at least three months beyond your planned stay in Europe before applying.
